YOKOHAMA – A woman was arrested Saturday on trespassing charges after breaking into the home of former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi for a second time, the police said.
Akiyo Kondo, 33, entered Koizumi’s home in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Saturday morning and was found sitting on the living room sofa by a family servant, who alerted a police officer guarding the estate, Yokosuka police said.
Koizumi was out at the time, they said.
The woman also broke into Koizumi’s home in December, demanding to see Shinjiro, one of his two sons. Like his father, Shinjiro Koizumi is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party.
