Toyota Motor Corp. said Monday that it will exhibit a turbocharged version of its Lexus LF-NX concept sport utility vehicle at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show starting later this month.
It is the first turbocharged model in the Lexus luxury vehicle lineup. The model is equipped with a newly developed 2,000cc turbocharged engine to offer improved performance, Toyota said.
For the Lexus LF-NX, a gasoline-electric hybrid version has already been unveiled.
The leading Japanese automaker will also display a prototype of the Lexus RC sports coupe at the biennial motor show.
The Lexus RC comes in two models -a gasoline-powered version with a 3,500cc engine and a hybrid version with a 2,500cc engine.
The motor show will be open to the public from Nov. 23 to Dec. 1 at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto Ward.
