TSU, MIE PREF. – Mie Gov. Eikei Suzuki said Wednesday that his prefecture was to ink a deal with Taiwan’s New Taipei City to promote tourism exchanges.
The prefecture and the city plan to sign the pact on Oct. 21, Suzuki told a news conference. The accord will call for promoting mutual visits, introducing tourist attractions on websites and mutually publicizing events such as festivals, Suzuki explained.
