Hitachi Ltd. said it has won a ¥37 billion order for trains, signal systems and other equipment for a planned rail line in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 19.7-km rail line from Ben Thanh and Suoi Tien is to open in early 2018. Hitachi plans to conclude a separate contract with the Ho Chi Minh City for maintenance of the railway for five years after completion.
