The bodies of two of the three Japanese victims of a car and knife rampage in Guam arrived Friday evening at Narita International Airport.
Also aboard the plane carrying the bodies of Rie Sugiyama, 28, and her grandmother, Kazuko Uehara, 81, were Sugiyama's 8-month-old and 3-year-old daughters, who both suffered facial wounds.
Sugiyama and Uehara were on Guam with around 20 relatives to attend the wedding ceremony of Sugiyama's younger brother, scheduled for Thursday.
Investigators allege that Chad Ryan De Soto, 21, ran down six people with his car, crashed it into a building and then stabbed eight people after getting out of the vehicle. Among the victims hit by his car was Hitoshi Yokota, 51, who died Thursday.
Ten other Japanese nationals and one local were injured in the attack, investigators said.
Sugiyama was stabbed five times after she and her husband tried to protect their daughters from De Soto, according to investigators.
