SAS to rebrand classes

Scandinavian Airlines, better known as SAS, will change the names of its classes and improve services for one of the classes in June.

Economy class will be renamed SAS Go, economy extra class will be SAS Plus and business class will be SAS Business.

The rate of additional euro bonus points will be larger for SAS Plus passengers from June. SAS Plus passengers will have double the euro bonus points SAS Go passengers will receive. (Economy extra class currently awards 1.5 times the bonus points of economy class.)

SAS Plus passengers are also eligible for priority baggage service, in which they can receive their baggage at their destination airport earlier than those in economy class. Currently, only business class passengers are eligible.

SAS Plus passengers can also use the SAS Lounges in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Goteborg, Helsinki, Brussels, London and Paris.
