While women traditionally give chocolates to men on Valentine's Day in Japan, men are expected to return the favor a month later on White Day. For the occasion, the Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers is offering special White Day dinner plans at some of its restaurants, through March 14.
The Kobe Grill and Chinese restaurant Suikyo-en are each offering a special White Day dinner course for two, and the terrace restaurant Garden Cafe has a special dinner buffet. All of these plans come with a 750-ml bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Cuvee Brut, the so-called movie Champagne famous for being Marilyn Monroe's favorite.
Those who order any of the White Day plans will also receive a pair of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne glasses and a Champagne stopper as special gifts.
