Chinese restaurant Ro-Lan at the Hotel Grand Pacific Le Daiba in Tokyo is holding an order-buffet dinner through Feb. 28.
A variety of dishes from appetizers to desserts will be cooked as you order. Among the available items are shark fin soup, swallow’s nest soup, steamed abalone, Peking duck and a variety of dim sum.
The buffet is available between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. (last entry 8 p.m.) and costs ¥13,000 per adult and ¥7,000 per child ages 4 to 12.

Four Seasons’ 18th anniversary
Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so celebrates its 18th anniversary with a variety of special accommodation, culinary and spa packages.
Special accommodation plans start at ¥18,000 per person for a one-night stay in a Superior Room with breakfast and dinner, double occupancy (limited to weekdays through March 19).
For more luxury, a one-night stay in a Premier Garden Suite is available through June 30 at ¥180,000 for two people. This package includes breakfast, a dinner that comes with a choice of aperitif and an original cake for dessert, access to the hotel’s spa, which has a pool, onsen and fitness facility, and a spa treatment.
Also through June 30, for ¥1,800,000, two people can stay in an Executive Suite for 30 nights with access to the hotel’s spa facility and daily breakfast.
On the culinary side, Premium Dinner Dine Around costs ¥180,000 for six people and lets guests experience all four establishments in the hotel — Italian and Japanese restaurants, lobby lounge and main bar — in one night. Arranged in accordance with guests’ requests, each restaurant’s specialties will be combined to create a special full-course dinner. The course is available through June 30 for one group per day on a reservation-only basis.
There is also a similar lunch offer that brings together specialties of the day from casual, Italian and Japanese restaurants and the lobby lounge for ¥18,000 for two people, available weekdays through March 19.
All weekday-only plans exclude national holidays.

Kobe Sheraton wine tasting event
The Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers will host a wine tasting event in the hotel’s banquet hall from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 28.
Visitors can try around 300 kinds of wine from all over the world and enjoy other attractions, such as blind tasting contests, live music, a champagne seminar and tasting (with an additional ¥1,000) and a domestic wine forum.
You can purchase your favorite wines at a 20 percent discount and, if you wish, enjoy them in the hotel’s restaurants the same day.
Tickets are ¥2,000 in advance and ¥2,500 at the door.
