Festival of the shrine. The highlight of this festival is a procession of mikoshi on the boat through the torii gate standing in the sea near the shrine, and gojinjo-daiko (Japanese folkloristic drumming) by men wearing grotesque masks.

noon mikoshi and kiriko (tall rectangular lanterns) arrive at okariya in the town

Location: Hakusan-jinja Shrine (Okitsuhime-jinja Shrine) and others, Nafune-machi, Wajima, Ishikawa
JR Hokuriku Shinkansen Line to Kanazawa Station. From there, take Hokuriku Tetsudo Bus to Wajima-Ekimae Bus Stop (2 hrs.), and then take bus to Nafune Bus Stop (20 min.).
