One of the biggest summer festival in Shikoku region. Festival comes its climax when three mikoshi on the boat are carried on the sea and hashirikomi (men scramble for catching sacred white strips of paper hanging from a tall bamboo pole standing at the center of the river) is held at the center of Suka river.

noon-3 p.m. Togyu (bull fighting) at togyu-jo (bull ring) (admission ¥3,000)
12:50-4:30 p.m. Oyaushioni (three imaginary bull-head monsters), parading in the city to the river
from 5:30 p.m.: Parade of three mikoshi and floats from the shrine to the bay through the city
from 8:15 p.m.: Parade of three mikoshi on the boat, going upstream of the river
from 8:40 p.m.: Fireworks display in Maruyama Park
from 8:50 p.m.: Hashirikomi at the river
