Cherry Blossom Festival in commemoration of the famous feudal lords Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616), the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate in Edo (present-day Tokyo). The period of light up is subject to change depending on blooming.

6 p.m.-10 p.m. Cherry blossoms light up at Okazaki Park

1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. Gyoretsu of Shogun Ieyasu and about 700 samurai warriors from Iga Hachiman-gu Shrine to Otogawa riverbed
from 3:30 p.m.: Sham battle at Otogawa riverbed
Location: Iga Hachiman-gu Shrine, Okazaki Park, Otogawa River and others, Okazaki, Aichi
Okazaki Park: JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line to Toyohashi Station. From there, take Meitetsu Nagoya Honsen Line to Higashi-Okazaki Station, and then walk 15 min.
