After its successful first run last year, Kawasaki’s biggest live-performance event is taking over the streets again.
The Kawasaki Cinema x Street Performance Festival features jugglers, acrobats, mime artists, magicians and more. All the acts have taken great cinematic moments as inspiration for their performances, which will all take place at various locations around Kawasaki Station.
The range of genres is vast, including comedians, such as Chu-san a Charlie Chaplin impersonator; an “Alice in Wonderland” team called Parts; circus acrobatics from Supplement and dance from Takehan and Shinchan.
It’s a festival chock full of captivating oddballs that are bound to delight both kids and adults. (Drew Bateman)
