Sept. 5-Nov. 8

As its title suggests, this exhibition features artists from the tail-end of the impressionist movement, including Eugene Carriere (1849-1906), Edmond-Francois Aman-Jean (1858-1936), Henri Le Sidaner (1862-1939) and Emile Claus (1849-1924) — artists whose careers were spent in Paris during the early 20th century.

They were never involved in the avant-garde trends of fauvism and cubism and therefore their roles in art history are often considered insignificant. However, their pure and poetic perspectives made them successful, both critically and commercially.

About 80 works from around 20 artists, all of whom were members of La Societe Nouvelle des Peintres et Sculpteurs, will be on display.
