Since 2012, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum has been holding annual exhibitions in collaboration with selected arts groups and associates in Japan, in order to revitalize artistic activities by exhibiting fresh work from their favorite artists.

This year, there will be 163 artworks by 151 different artists, chosen from public entries held by 27 art groups. These works range from Japanese and Western-style painting to sculpture, print, craft and watercolors. Using two exhibition rooms and three galleries, with about 5,750 sq. meters of wall area, this is one of the largest exhibitions the museum has ever held; May 4-27
