Oktoberfest comes a few days early in Odaiba this weekend.
Modeled after the German celebration, patrons can drink a variety of imported beer and some local favorites in proper German-styled mugs.
Sausages and sauerkraut will also be served. Munich-based folk band Almpower will provide the soundtrack for the day.
Odaiba Oktoberfest takes place at Symbol Promenade Park in Koto-ku, Tokyo, from Sept. 27-Oct. 6. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.oktober-fest.jp.
