The Kawasaki City Museum has a tradition of creating exhibitions that explore the relationship between technology and art, and this one, coinciding with the museum's 25th anniversary, is no exception.
As society becomes progressively more wired, and the Internet a common way to connect people across the globe, our world view changes. Through the work of young Japanese and foreign artists, this exhibition explores our relationship with technology. Using various media, including video installations and textiles, the artists comment on controversial issues such as privacy, changing outlooks on life, and the effect of technology on human relationships; July 20-Sept. 29.
