There's a folk-flavored feast for the ears happening this Sunday afternoon, with you — and your kids — invited. Husband-and-wife duo Nature Airliner (comprising Canadian musician Laurier Tiernan and Japanese vocalist Eiko Hosaka) will hold the latest in their "Presents" series at Crawfish, Akasaka, and they hope that a "different kind of live experience" is what you're in to.

Smoke free, with "good food and comfortable seats on offer" for all, the team — confessing to be "older than your average hipsters" — aim to spread family-friendly vibes, while showcasing what they believe to be Kanto's best acoustic talent.

Returning from the Kansai Music Conference in September, Nature Airliner take to the stage only after American singer-songwriter Derek Hurst opens; his piano lifting the mood and getting things going. Whether it's the soundtrack to a late lunch — there's talk of "great veggie pizzas" — or just an afternoon spent listening to live music and chatting with friends, the day promises something for everyone.

There will be an enchanting "Okinawan flavor" to the end of proceedings, with the An-Chang Project's soul-soothing island-sound rounding off the day in style.

"Nature Airliner Presents — Vol. 3" takes place on Nov. 20 at Live Cafe Crawfish, in Minato-ku, Tokyo (2 p.m. till 7 p.m.). It is located five minutes from Exit 1 of Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda Line. Tickets are ¥1,500 for adults and free for children under 16.
