While sports media has its eyes on golfer Ryo Ishikawa, who is currently preparing for the Northern Trust Open in California on Feb. 15-20, golf fans have their eyes on Tokyo as Asia's largest golf fair is set for that same weekend.

The JGGA is a collection of the largest Japanese golf associations, including the Professional Golfers Association of Japan (PGA) and the Ladies Professional Golfers Association of Japan (LPGA). The annual golf fair has been going since 1968.

The event features more than 100 exhibitors from several countries. Whether you are an avid golfer, interested in getting in on the business end of the sport or just looking for a day of fun with the family, the fair is packed with things to do.

Yonex, Eagle Golf and Kogolf will showcase their latest merchandise and equipment. Seminars, including "Integration of Health and Golf," are scheduled with guest speakers. Professional golfers on hand will include Katsumasa Miyamoto and Atsushi Murata. Virtual golf tournaments will be held with chances to win prizes, and lessons will be available from the PGA for junior and senior golfers. A fashion show featuring the latest styles in sportswear will also be held.

The 45th Japan Golf Fair 2011 takes place from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. on Feb. 18-20 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, West Hall 1 and 2. The fair ends at 5 p.m. on Feb. 20. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.japangolffair.com
