Al Pacino and Robert De Niro — widely regarded as two of the greatest actors the United States has produced — play veteran New York Police Department detectives. But don't expect a 2010 version of their hit 1995 cop thriller "Heat." This film does have many film noir aspects to it — think shoot-em-ups, a femme fatale character, NYPD loyalties and lost faith — but the biggest impact it has will be to leave you yearning for the old days of cinema. "Actors Draw Line on Pay Checks," might have been a better title.
