A novice nun ventures outside a convent for the first time in her life before taking her permanent vows. Avril (Sophie Quinton), an abandoned child who grew up in the convent, learns that she has a twin brother and decides to meet him. From pop music and dancing to fishing and precious moments with her brother David (Clement Sibony), Avril savors new experiences in the limited time she has away from the convent. She later falls in love with Pierre (Nicolas Duvauchelle), a handsome young man who offers her a ride in his car.
