The cocker-sheepdog mix Mack (above left) was first featured here last November under his former name, Bon — a name that reflected not only his personality but also, apparently, his luck. Very good luck has hooked him up with Tokyo-based Americans Jamie and Sebastian Godoy and their son, Ben. Jamie, pictured here with Mack and Archie, a Fukushima rescue they took in from another shelter, says there was an instant connection when they met Mack. "Intelligent, but very headstrong," Mack has been a good student. A bit of training has quieted a barking habit and he reportedly enjoys following Archie and the human family members around. "He has grown a lot since coming to our home and blended into our family's dynamic and routine quite well," Jamie says. Most of all, "Mack enjoys playing with his two brothers, one with fur, one without."
