Supernova is one of five pups born to a dog that had been abandoned. The puppies, though thought to be feral, were actually very tame. All five were trapped along with the mother and taken to ARK.

Two of them — Supernova and her lookalike brother, Satellite — are now in Tokyo and looking for a home. Right now, at 2 months of age, Supernova is not much bigger than a cat and looks a lot like a baby seal. She is expected to grow to be about 15-18 kg, about the size of a standard Shiba.

Supernova is full of curiosity and into everything. She adores people and loves being picked up. She gets along with other dogs but sometimes gives her brother a hard time. Life is wildly fascinating right now and Supernova shows it. Her tail wags so fast you can barely see it!

If you are interested in adopting Supernova, email ARK at [email protected] or call 050-1557-2763 Monday to Saturday (bilingual) for more information. Tokyo ARK is an NPO founded by Briton Elizabeth Oliver. It is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. All animals are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Prospective owners are requested to undergo a screening process.
