Koo and Koma are best of friends.

Although they're not related, they both found their way to ARK through the kindness of strangers.

They are now in foster care in Tokyo and are in need of a home. Koo, a black-and-white male about 3 months old, is the more rambunctious and outgoing of the two.

Full of energy, playful, curious and without a fear in the world, he is also unusually quiet.

The only time you are likely to hear him is when he's asking for food. The 4½-month-old Koma is a more independent type, with a calm personality that is a wonderful complement to Koo's high spirits. Koma is not aloof, however. She loves to sleep on laps or by your side.

Koo and Koma are a lovely pair and very well-matched. Even their names, by chance, go well together.

Their balance, a feline yin and yang, makes these youngsters' presence uncannily soothing. Their meeting was in the stars.

If you are interested in adopting Koo and Koma, email ARK at [email protected] or call 050-1557-2763 (Monday to Saturday) for more information. Tokyo ARK is an NPO founded by Briton Elizabeth Oliver dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. All animals are vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Prospective owners are requested to undergo a screening process.
