Kamakura, Kanagawa: What is your ideal pet?

I think a dog would be the ideal pet. I’ve never had a dog, but if I was going to get one, I think I would want a big dog. I am big so a big dog would look good with me.

I want a sea creature. If I could make the perfect living conditions, I think a jellyfish or a sea slug would be good for me. Even though I couldn’t communicate with them, I like the way they move — it’s soothing.

I would have to say a dog, man’s best friend. They are affectionate and they like to be with you. I would want a golden retriever if I was going to get a dog because they seem to be friendly.

A cat. I have two cats. I like cats because they are low maintenance compared to dogs, and they are quieter, smaller and seem cleaner. Also, they are not as annoying as dogs. I think dogs are very similar to children.

I’m not interested in animals and I’ve never had a pet. I especially don’t like cats; I’ve disliked them since I was a child. I can look at people walking their dogs and understand how they feel, but I don’t want one.

I think the iPhone is the ideal pet. It does everything you want it to do; it answers all your questions and it’s there for you when you need it. And you don’t have to feed an iPhone.
