The biggest fireworks show of the summer, this festival will see some 20,000 colorful explosions over the Sumida River (two locations, see the map) on July 25, 2015 from 7:05 PM - 8:30 PM
Fired from boats in front of Rinko Park, steps away from Minatomirai Station, this event’s 15,000 fireworks will illuminate the port of Yokohama from 7 p.m. to 8:315 p.m. on Aug. 4.
This fireworks festival will see people flocking in their traditional yukata toward the banks of the Edo River, which can be accessed from Shinozaki Station and Koiwa Station. Some 14,000 shells will be fired through the sky from 7:15 p.m to 8.30 p.m on Aug. 1.
The fireworks display takes place at the east bank of the Edo River, accessible from Ichikawa Station. It will feature some 14,000 shells starting at 7:15 pm on Aug. 2, just opposite of the launching site of the Edogawa Fireworks Festival.
Around 12,000 fireworks will be launched on Aug. 8 from 6:50 p.m. until 8:10 p.m. over the inner Tokyo Bay and will be visible from the seaside close to Tsukishima Station and Kachidoki Station.
With 11,000 shells, this fireworks festival will take place over the river bordering the north side of Nishidai Station in Itabashi City on Aug. 1 from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy the wide open space of the south bank to peer at the colorful sparks.
This festival and its 10,000 fireworks can be enjoyed from the middle of Tokyo on Aug. 11 from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Meiji Jingu Gaien, accessible from Gaienmae Station.
The Tama River bordering Chofu will be illuminated by 8,000 firework explosions on Aug. 22 from 6:30 p.m. The north bank of the river where the fireworks will be launched is accessible from Fuda Station.
Around 15,000 fireworks will be launched for this occasion on Oct. 10 from 6 p.m over the Arakawa River. The venue is accessible from Konosu Station.
The festival will take place at Tamagawa Futagobashi Koen offering an excellent view over the Tama River on Aug. 22 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. The park is accessible from Futakotamagawa Station.
This festival will have 5,000 fireworks launched over Owada Koen near Owada Station and Omiyakoen Station on July 30 from 7:30 p.m.
