Three Chinese maritime surveillance ships entered Japan's territorial waters Monday near the Senkaku Islands, the coast guard said.
The incursion, lasting about 15 minutes, took place around 7 a.m., according to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture.
