The Kanagawa Prefectural Police has arrested two of its officers over an incident at a karaoke parlor last March in which a female officer in her 20s was allegedly forced to undress and was kissed on the cheek by one of them against her will.

The police said Saturday that Sgt. Yoshinobu Mori, 35, of the traffic administration division was arrested on suspicion of duress and assault, and that Sgt. Yoshikazu Arakawa, 38, of the organized crime control division was arrested on suspicion of duress.

The three were serving at Yamato Police Station when Mori and Arakawa allegedly harassed her. The incident came to light last July.

After inviting the younger officer to a karaoke parlor in Yamato, Mori and Arakawa allegedly ordered her to undress and put on Mori's uniform. Mori then forcibly kissed her on the cheek.

Mori has admitted to the allegations, but Arakawa said he did not force the officer to do anything, police said.
