To celebrate this spring's opening of the Tokyo Sky Tree, the metropolis' new landmark, the Edo-Tokyo Museum is presenting an exhibition that explores the history of three great towers.

Through a collection of woodblock prints, photographs, illustrations and paintings, the show takes viewers back to the construction and historical significance of the Tokyo and Osaka towers as well as of the most famous of all, Paris' Eiffel Tower. It includes exhibits on loan from the Musee d'Orsay in Paris; till May 6.
