Lebanese leader coming to Japan

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri will make a three-day visit to Japan this week, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

Hariri was to arrive Thursday and meet Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi on Friday.

They are expected to discuss not only bilateral topics but also issues concerning the peace process in the Middle East, according to the ministry.

It will be Hariri’s fourth visit to Japan, the ministry said.
